Where did it all start

It all started 2 years ago with a little round speaker, that i wanted to be able to listen to Virgin radio in the kitchen in the morning when i was ironing and having breakfast,  So i picked up a Google Home Mini from Curry's. and took it home and plugged it in, and as if by magic, when i said 'OK Google...Play Virgin Radio' it instantly started playing Virgin Radio.

This was around the time that I Purchased a Nest Thermostat, as part of my quest to reduce my heating bills,  which i will be reviewing in a later post. it then occurred to me that, rather than going up and adjusting the temp, I could just say 'OK Google....set the temp to 21. and as soon as I saw the dial move up to 21, I was totally hooked, and then instantly started to search the web for what else would work with this magic little speaker.
